Eight Senators Urge President Biden to End Offensive Military Aid to Israel if Israel Keeps Blocking US Humanitarian Aid to Gaza

We are five months into Israel’s devastating attacks on Gaza that President Joe Biden’s administration has continuously supported with the provision of weapons and intelligence essential to the war effort despite Congress not appropriating money for such. All the while, Biden and his executive branch cohorts have ridiculously claimed they support restraint in Israel’s pursuit of the war though that restraint never materializes. They have also extolled their virtue for providing aid to Gazans who have been thrust into horror by the Biden administration’s actions even as Israel blocks aid from reaching Gazans.

The letter asks the president to drop both the US government’s requested extradition and its ongoing prosecution efforts in regard to Julian Assange of WikiLeaks.

In America, Assange is set to face prosecution for helping expose the secret and disturbing reality of US government actions, including involving war.

House Members to Send Letter Calling for Termination of Effort to Prosecute Julian Assange

A Thursday report by Ryan Grim at The Intercept relates that Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) is seeking cosigners for a letter to United States Attorney General Merrick Garland calling on him to “uphold the First Amendment’s protections for the freedom of the press by dropping the criminal charges against Australian publisher Julian Assange and withdrawing the American extradition request currently pending with the British government.”

Republican Governors and US House Members Urge President Biden to End Requirement that Visitors to America Take Coronavirus Shots

In June, the United Sates Department of State published an announcement of the ending of coronavirus testing requirements imposed on Americans and foreigners flying to America. The announcement, though, also declared that the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) “Order requiring proof of vaccination for noncitizen nonimmigrants to travel to the United States is still in effect.” And that coronavirus crackdown requirement remains in effect today.
