On March 8, President Joe Biden declared, in a speech announcing a ban on imports of Russian oil and gas, that these and other actions taken by the United States government “to inflict further pain on [Russia President Vladimir Putin]” would “cost us as well, in the United States.”
Since then, the US government’s economic sanctions on Russia — as well as spending, military training, intelligence sharing, and weapons transfers to attack the Russian military — have increased as the economic conditions in America have declined. Some of that economic decline is a result of the actions against Russia, as Biden suggested would be the case. Other parts of the decline have other causes.

US Cranking War Back Up in Somalia
President Joe Biden is cranking back up the US government’s war in Somalia. Previously, President Donald Trump brought some reprieve in US military action in the African nation. But, intervention reducing developments in US foreign policy tend to face much pressure to end.
It has been two weeks since a United States district court struck down President Joe Biden’s mandate, imposed through the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), that people wear masks when traveling via public transportation, or by taxi or ride-share service, as well as when at related locations, such as airports. After the court decision, most transportation companies and locations have been quick to make clear that people are free to leave their faces uncovered. Many people have been very happy to do just that.
In his March 1 State of the Union speech, President Joe Biden threatened, in a comment directed to people he termed “Russian oligarchs,” that “we are joining with our European allies to find and seize your yachts your luxury apartments your private jets. We are coming for your ill-begotten gains.” Since then, US government agents have been doing just that, seizing Russians’ property wherever it can be found.
A United States district judge in Florida struck down on Monday the mandate imposed by President Joe Biden through the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) that people countrywide wear masks in many public transportation-related activities and locations, as well as in taxis and ride share vehicles.
Ron Paul gained the recognition and admiration of many people due to his advocacy in presidential campaigns for the United States adopting a noninterventionist foreign policy. No to war and sanctions. Butt out of other countries’ affairs. Yes to trade and communication. Thus, it should be expected that Paul would object to President Joe Biden, in the midst of Biden ramping up sanctions and antagonistic rhetoric against Russia, promoting a “new world order.”
Opponents of coronavirus crackdowns have found encouragement in the results of a new Monmouth University poll in which 70 percent of surveyed Americans responded that they tend to agree with the following statement: “It’s time we accept that Covid is here to stay and we just need to get on with our lives.” Supermajority agreement with this statement does seem to be a good sign for freedom. But, considering respondents’ answers to other questions in the poll suggests that a substantial portion of people saying we need to “get on with our lives” are actually supporting doing so in a “new normal” manner that incorporates significant aspects of violations of freedom that government has imposed in the name of countering coronavirus.
On Friday, another of President Joe Biden’s national vaccine mandates was ruled against by a federal judge. Judge Jeffrey Vincent Brown of the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas issued a preliminary injunction against the United States government implementing or enforcing Biden’s mandate that US government employees take experimental coronavirus “vaccine” shots.

The Tyrant Says He Means Well
Tyrants just about always say they mean well in imposing tyranny. Sweeping prohibitions, coupled with harsh enforcement, the tyrants say, are necessary to advance important conditions, such as health, economic wellbeing, or defense from an enemy’s menace.
So it goes as well with United States President Joe Biden who has unilaterally exercised broad tyrannical powers on matters including mask mandates and vaccine mandates in the name of protecting people’s health.
Over this and last month, there was good news for Americans seeking to exercise their right to refuse to take experimental coronavirus “vaccine” shots. Decisions of several United States courts resulted in temporary injunctions against the US government’s implementation and enforcement of all three of President Joe Biden’s vaccine mandates for private employees — the mandate for employees at companies with 100 or more employees, the mandate for employees at health care related companies, and the mandate for employees at companies that are contractors or subcontractors with the US government.
