Do Snowflake White House Employees Need a Safe Space?

It is an improvement that President Donald Trump has made himself many times more available for media questions than did Trump’s predecessor Joe Biden and Trump’s November election opponent Kamala Harris who notoriously made great effort to avoid reporters’ questions. Still, it would be nice if Trump told his White House employees to knock off their use of petty rules limiting media access.

While Americans Increasingly Oppose US Involvement in the Ukraine War, Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell Remains All-in

“Defeating the Russians in Ukraine is the single most important event going on in the world right now.” That was the pitch of United States Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) in a Fox News interview when he was asked about newly released Associated Pres-NORC poll results indicating a significant decrease in support among Americans for the US government’s efforts against Russia in the Ukraine War.

Americans are Increasingly Wary of US Efforts to Harm Russia Causing Economic Damage in America

On March 8, President Joe Biden declared, in a speech announcing a ban on imports of Russian oil and gas, that these and other actions taken by the United States government “to inflict further pain on [Russia President Vladimir Putin]” would “cost us as well, in the United States.”

Since then, the US government’s economic sanctions on Russia — as well as spending, military training, intelligence sharing, and weapons transfers to attack the Russian military — have increased as the economic conditions in America have declined. Some of that economic decline is a result of the actions against Russia, as Biden suggested would be the case. Other parts of the decline have other causes.
