Here is an update.
In the fall, California Governor Gavin Newsom signed into law legislation giving medical boards in the state the power to punish — including via revoking state medical licenses — doctors for challenging the orthodoxy regarding coronavirus.
This new law was quickly responded to with lawsuits challenging it.
On September 8, I wrote about California Governor Gavin Newsom having AB 2098 — legislation that “tells the state’s medical boards to punish doctors who challenge the coronavirus orthodoxy” — on his desk for him to either veto or sign into law. The punishment the state medical boards could impose under the legislation includes revoking doctors’ medical licenses.
Here is an update. On Friday, Newsom signed into law this bill directing the prosecution of an attack on free speech, medical freedom, and the pursuit of better health.
During the coronavirus scare, a small dissident group of American doctors stood up against the concerted effort of many politicians, people in the media, “public health” bureaucrats, doctors, and medical organizations to portray the coronavirus “vaccine” shots as “safe and effective” and something everyone should take.
Ron Paul was a strong proponent in the United States House of Representatives of ending the US government’s war on doctors who prescribe pain medication and on their patients who rely on the medication to relieve pain. This war has been a subset of the larger war on drugs and one that is in many ways easier to fight than taking on actual drug-running organizations that use stealth and violence as tools of the trade.
Visiting doctors’ offices has long been something most people have not enjoyed and something some people have dreaded. With mask wearing demands and coronavirus fearmongering to push experimental “vaccine” shots lately becoming part of the doctor’s office experience for many people, more informed clients are now also increasingly questioning the competence and rationality of their doctors.
Still, visiting many doctors’ offices may become a significantly worse experience soon because of advice the American Medical Association is giving doctors in a newly published guide. The guide, titled “Advancing Health Equity: A Guide to Language, Narrative and Concepts,” calls for doctor to change the way they speak to clients so doctors’ statements to clients regarding medical matters are heavily infused with political commentary.
This week, video of a Washington, DC press conference of doctors was racking up millions of views. In the Monday press conference, several doctors of the group America’s Frontline Doctors challenged much of the party line that has been pushed for months by many people in media and government about coronavirus and how it should be dealt with medically and politically.
