NDAA May Terminate Coronavirus Shots Mandate for Military Members

Mike Brest reported Tuesday at the Washington Examiner that the “House of Representatives has come to an agreement to put language in the annual defense funding bill that would end the Pentagon’s coronavirus vaccine mandate for service members against President Joe Biden and Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin’s stances.”

Rep. Thomas Massie’s Attempt to Save Marijuana Legalization from the MORE Act

A year ago, Rep. Thomas Massie (R-KY) was pointing out that the Marijuana Opportunity Reinvestment and Expungement (MORE) Act being used by Democratic leadership in the United States House of Representatives as the vehicle for marijuana legalization was actually delaying progress toward marijuana legalization on the national level. If the Democratic leadership really wants to end the US government’s marijuana prohibition, Massie argued, it should ditch the MORE Act with its extraneous provisions that turn off most Republican House members and even some Democrat House members and instead bring to the House floor a “straight up clean” bill eliminating the US government’s criminalization of activities related to marijuana.

The Democratic leadership did not follow Massie’s advice last year. Instead, it kept pushing the MORE Act, resulting in the bill passing in the Democratic-majority House in a very partisan vote but going nowhere in the then-Republican-majority Senate. In the new Congress begun this year, the House’s Democratic leadership is again pushing the virtually Democrats only MORE Act, designated as HR 3617 this Congress. It makes one wonder if the power behind the scenes either thinks the new razor-thin Democratic majority in the Senate will deliver approval of the bill or, it seems more likely, thinks it is fine to score political points with the very partisan bill while ensuring the US government’s marijuana prohibition stays in place.

Everyone Should Take the Experimental Coronavirus Vaccines? Nope.

A multitude of politicians and people in the media have been saying everyone should take experimental coronavirus vaccines, some of which are not even vaccines under the normal meaning of the term. In presenting this plea, many of these individuals have repeatedly described the experimental coronavirus vaccine shots as safe, despite the fact sheets for the vaccines at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) website having indicated all along that, rather than being safe, the shots carry many known health risks, as well as unknown risks because of incomplete and rushed testing. And, with the continuing torrent of reports of injuries and deaths after injections of the rushed vaccines, there is growing indication of severe and expansive harm from the vaccines.

Rep. Thomas Massie’s Refreshing Answer Regarding Whether People Should Take Coronavirus Vaccines

Many American politicians, from President Joe Biden on down, are repeatedly declaring the blatantly fraudulent propaganda that experimental coronavirus vaccines are safe and everyone should take them. It is, thus, refreshing when occasionally a politician breaks through the torrent of propaganda to present a normal and more sensible response to the question of whether people should take one of the experimental coronavirus vaccines. Rep. Thomas Massie, a Republican member of the United States House of Representatives from Kentucky, did just that in a quoted statement in an article on Sunday.

Rep. Thomas Massie Discusses the Donald Trump Impeachment ‘Farce’

“This is a farce; it’s a sham.” That is how Rep. Thomas Massie, in a Monday interview with host Kennedy at Fox Business, concluded his assessment of the expedited impeachment of President Donald Trump in the United States House of Representatives before Trump’s presidential term ended and the similarly rushed trial of the now former president that is taking place this week in the US Senate.

Rep. Thomas Massie: Hey Democrats, if you Want Legal Marijuana, Drop the ‘Politicized’ MORE Act, and Have a Vote on a ‘Straight Up Clean’ Bill

Two years back, when Republicans held the majority in the United States House of Representatives, Rep. Thomas Massie (R-KY) was criticizing the failure of the House Republican leadership to allow a vote of the House membership on ending the US government’s marijuana prohibition, which Massie predicted would have passed. Massie further argued that the Republicans could have maintained their majority in the House — lost in the November of 2018 general election — if leadership had just allowed a House floor vote on the popular proposition that marijuana policy be left up to the states.

Rep. Thomas Massie Versus the Coronavirus Power-Grabbers in Government

Fear of coronavirus, or the use of such fear being present among the people to justify expanding control, is driving decisions in much of American local, state, and national governments. Limiting international travel, prohibiting people from eating or drinking in restaurants and bars, imposing curfews, ordering “nonessential” businesses shut, and banning gatherings of more than a certain number of individuals are among the mandates governments have put in place in the name of fighting coronavirus.

This has all happened while extraordinary danger from coronavirus is not established and government actions being imposed, which carry health dangers of their own, tend not to be clearly helpful for countering what danger there may be from coronavirus.

However, not everyone in government is doing the coronavirus Chicken Little dance. United States House of Representatives member Thomas Massie (R-KY), who also is an Advisory Board member for the Ron Paul Institute, has been pretty much saying “hold on there guys” to fellow politicians who are rushing to disrespect the liberty of Americans in the name of countering coronavirus.

Speaking today on the United States House of Representatives floor, Rep.
