President Trump Bails on the Constitution

The Eighth Amendment of the Bill of Rights addresses the national government’s power in regard to bail. As with many other provisions in this set of the first ten amendments to the Constitution, the declaration regarding bail is one of limitation on the national government’s power rather than a grant of power. “Excessive bail shall not be required,” the amendment commands.

Trump Signals US Government’s Return to Respecting “Freedom to Choose” in American Homes

The choices Americans make about the products they use in their homes can seem trivial in comparison to matters like violent crime, diseases, and war. Yet, these choices are in fact very important. Texas Governor Stands Up Against President Joe Biden’s Coronavirus Vaccine Bullying

Maybe Texas Governor Greg Abbott was influenced by the billboards that appeared around Texas last month urging people to resist bullying regarding experimental coronavirus “vaccine” shots and to instead make their own informed choices. Abbott also added to the agenda of the state legislature’s ongoing special session consideration of legislation similar to the executive order.

The Worst Junk Mail: The Biden Administration Wants to Deliver Masks to All Americans

Talk about bad junk mail. President Joe Biden’s administration is considering delivering masks to all Americans — in the name of countering coronavirus, of course.

The United States government’s distribution of these unneeded masks would be both a waste of money and a significant step in advancing the mask mandate tyranny in America.

Virginia’s Statewide Mask Mandate

Starting Friday, people ten years old and older who are indoors just about anywhere in Virginia other than in private homes will be required by a new executive order of Virginia Governor Ralph Northam to “cover their mouth and nose with a face covering, as described and recommended by” the United Sates government’s Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Further, the mandate even requires wearing such a mask when outside at a long list of places “if a distance of six feet from every other person cannot be maintained.”

Oh brother. Indeed, oh Big Brother.
