Florida Surgeon General Says Nobody Should Take mRNA Coronavirus Shots

In September of 2021, many government officials in America were advocating requiring people to take experimental coronavirus “vaccine” shots in order to stay employed, go to school, or just shop at stores or attend events. At the same time, Dr. Joseph Ladapo, a man with a very different approach to the matter, was being appointed by Florida Governor Ron DeSantis to be the state’s a new surgeon general and Department of Health leader.

At the appointment announcement, Ladapo took the pro-freedom approach, declaring that government should respect that it is up to each person to decide whether or not he takes the shots.

Then, over time as problems with the coronavirus shots became more evident, Ladapo did something most other government health officials failed to do. He successively warned different groups of individuals about harm from the shots. This culminated in Ladapo announcing on Wednesday his conclusion that the shots are not good for anyone to take.

In June of 2022, Ladapo explained the shots may do more harm than good for children and babies under age five as the Florida government alone among state governments refused to pre-order from the United States government the about to be available coronavirus shots for such young children. A few months later, in October of 2022, Ladapo advised that men ages 18 to 39 not take the shots and also advised “particular caution” in relation to the shots for people with pre-existing cardiac conditions.

Also in October of 2022, while a big move toward shots mandates for school students was underway, Ladapo boldly bucked the trend among American government health officials, declaring at Twitter:

Parents, don’t hold your breath… CDC & FDA abandoned their posts. Keep sticking with your intuition and keep those COVID jabs away from your kids.

The next month, Ladapo provided this broad negative assessment of the shots in an interview with host Cheryl Chumley at Chumley’s Bold and Blunt Podcast:

They are essentially unsafe products. Their safety profile is just so poor that it’s something that should be used with much more caution than they’ve pushed.

By September of 2023, Ladapo was saying everyone under age 65 should not take the shots, while advising caution to those who are older.

Which brings us to Ladapo’s new announcement in a Wednesday Florida Department of Health press release titled “Florida State Surgeon General Calls for Halt in the Use of COVID-19 Mrna Vaccines.” As the press release title suggests Ladapo’s announcement is that nobody should take these shots. The particular issue discussed in the press release supporting this determination is the risk posed by the shots’ contamination with DNA — a problem in addition to others Ladapo addressed in earlier criticism of the shots.

Meanwhile, the mantra of most government health officials in America continues to be that everyone should take the “safe and effective” shots. These officials have some catching up to do.
