In June, I wrote about Deborah Birx, one of the key “public health” officials from the orchestration of the American coronavirus scare, being back in action stirring up fear of another disease. This time Birx’s fearmongering was about bird flu. And she was advocating for government to follow a similar disastrous course to supposedly counter this disease as had been pursued in regard to coronavirus in the crackdown begun years back.
Here is an update.
High school students across America during the coronavirus crackdowns were subjected to oppressive, infuriating, and ridiculous mandates.
In December of 2019, I wrote about Major League Baseball (MLB), along with the Major League Baseball Players Association, announcing that marijuana use by professional baseball players would no longer be verboten. Concluding my discussion of this new development, I commented that “More professional sports organizations will surely follow in eliminating marijuana use prohibitions.”
Since early on in the coronavirus scare there has been a strong effort to condition people to accept that things will never return to normal and that people will need to adjust to a “new normal” in which life is hemmed in by new pervasive limitations on freedom in the name public safety. This “new normal” has expanded to even include a caste system condemning people wo refuse new experimental coronavirus “vaccine” shots to exclusion from, or subjection to greater restrictions in undertaking, many activities. Fortunately, many brave individuals are standing up against this “new normal,” declaring that they refuse to accept it.
Long-popular country music singer Travis Tritt is one of these brave individuals. He made the news this week with his bold cancelation of four shows he had scheduled in venues that have gone “new normal.” Beyond just canceling the shows, Tritt also provided a strong and inspirational written explanation for his decision. Included in the Monday announcement at his website of the shows’ cancelation is this quote from Tritt explaining his stand against the “new normal” being foisted on people:
Over the last few weeks, coronavirus crackdown mandates, including mask wearing requirements, have been rolled back in several states. But, in Alaska, the state Senate is proceeding with a looney and pernicious crackdown on one of its own members because she has not fully complied with a list of coronavirus-related rules for the capitol. The rules, including required mask wearing, are supposedly purposed to counter coronavirus.
Some American professional sports organizations, such as the National Football League (NFL) and Major League Baseball (MLB), have served as auxiliary enforcers of the United States government’s marijuana prohibition, testing players for marijuana use and imposing penalties on them if it is determined they have used marijuana. On Thursday, MLB, along with the Major League Baseball Players Association, announced a reversal of that policy for baseball players, starting with the 2020 spring training.
