Back in April of 2016, the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) informed members of the United States Congress that the DEA hoped to release in the first half of that year its determination of whether marijuana should be moved from Schedule I of the Controlled Substances Act to another schedule. Such rescheduling could result in a curtailment of aspects of the US government’s war on marijuana. Come August of 2016, the DEA announced it had decided marijuana should be left in Schedule I — the category for which the greatest drug war restrictions and penalties apply.
Continue reading“No war for oil” is a well-known chant and message on signs at antiwar protests. It challenges a common special interest purpose behind United States military actions abroad.
It is time to start using an updated variation of that chant and those signs.
Continue readingIn April of 2020, top coronavirus fearmongers including Anthony Fauci and his coconspirators turned on a dime from advising against wearing masks to protect against coronavirus to recommending that everyone wear masks for that purpose. This major change in advice occurred despite the fact that there was no clear evidence that masks provided any such protection while there were known health problems caused by mask wearing.
Early on, the “wear a mask” chorus hectored people to wear only cloth masks that were argued to provide protection. But, with time, Fauci and company increasingly encouraged people to wear N95 masks that they started arguing are more protective.
Continue readingOn Friday, the shows of Scott Ritter were booted from YouTube. Ritter had been in the shows communicating regarding the Ukraine War in a manner at odds with the narrative pushed by the United States government and big money media. In a Friday post relating this development, I concluded by stating “Hopefully, YouTube’s censorship is just a bump in the road and soon Ritter can be sharing his ideas as well as or even better than before.”
It is too soon to know if that hope will be fulfilled as it is a big blow to be deplatformed from one of the most visited social media websites. But, Ritter was back this week with a video announcement that his shows may be found at Rumble, a competitor of YouTube.
Continue readingTop Republican and Democratic leaders of the United States Congress just can’t get enough of demonstrating their over the top support for the government of Israel. One of the latest efforts to demonstrate this extreme devotion is the announcement by US House of Representatives Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) of the appointment of 12 Republican and Democratic House members to the new House-Knesset Parliamentary Friendship Group.
Continue readingScott Ritter has been a go-to source for information about what has really been happening in the Ukraine War, instead of the spin from the big money media and United States government officials. He has also been a very vocal critic of US government support for the Ukraine government throughout the war.
Thus, it is sadly not a surprise that on Friday Google-owned YouTube deplatformed two shows through which Ritter has been sharing his views. YouTube is no friend of people who challenge US foreign intervention.
Continue readingA nation’s leader just wanting his nation to stay neutral regarding a war undertaken against another nation by the United States government can set in motion a US government effort to boot that leader from office. A previously secret Pakistan government document disclosed in a Wednesday in-depth The Intercept article suggests that such a removal effort is just what the US government successfully accomplished in Pakistan in the early days of the Ukraine War.

Continue readingThroughout the coronavirus scare, Joseph Mercola has provided much information challenging many of the aspects of the government and big money media’s fearmongering campaign. Given Mercola is a doctor with the ability to reach with his message a significant number of people who value his thoughts on matters related to health, his communication has been seen as a major threat by those pushing the coronavirus scare and related coronavirus crackdowns.
Continue readingCornel West was well known and liked by many before he made his early June announcement that he is running for president. That has given West’s Green Party presidential campaign a good foundation upon which to build. A poll from late June suggests West may have support of four percent of voters in a hypothetical presidential election choice among West, Republican Donald Trump, and Democrat Joe Biden.
